I am desperately searching for the pancreatic stomach enzyme Viokase. This is a pancreatic stomach enzyme that helps food digestion and I have not been able to find any since last Thursday. Spent the day in the ER yesterday getting IV fluids and IV insulin, by the time I was at the hosp. 0600 my glucose level was too high to measure! the new digestive med CREON is not working. Super-speed gene tests will revolutionise health checks, Aussie Scientists
say.
Researchers from the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Melbourne
have teamed up with the Broad Institute of Harvard and the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology to develop next-generation DNA sequencing that can
simultaneously test 100 genes to identify mutations that may cause diseases.
Current tests can only check one gene at a time and the new sequencing
method will be both cheaper and more time efficent.
